HOW THE FEE WORKS

FROM LOAD SEARCH TO DISPATCH FEE.

01

WE HELP SOURCE & EVALUATE A LOAD

We search available freight and weigh it against your equipment, lanes, and preferences.

02

WE NEGOTIATE & COORDINATE

We communicate with the broker, pursue a competitive rate, and coordinate the details.

03

CARRIER APPROVES THE LOAD

You review the load and decide whether to accept it. No forced dispatch.

04

LOAD IS DISPATCHED

Once approved, we help coordinate the load from pickup through delivery.

05

DISPATCH FEE IS CALCULATED

The applicable percentage is calculated based on the gross load revenue for that dispatched load.

NO FORCED DISPATCH- the carrier approves every load before dispatch.

THE VALUE

WHAT 10% PAYS FOR.

A FAIR COMPARISON

DISPATCH SUPPORT VS. SELF-DISPATCH.

SELF-DISPATCH

  • You search loads directly
  • You negotiate rates
  • You communicate with brokers
  • You manage paperwork
  • You handle check calls and follow-up

AS LOGISTICS PRO

  • Our dispatch team handles those dispatch-support activities
  • You retain final load approval on everything
NO FORCED DISPATCH

YOUR TRUCK. YOUR DECISION.

Paying for dispatch support does not mean giving up control of your truck. We present and coordinate opportunities - you decide what you haul.

WHY CARRIERS CHOOSE DISPATCH SUPPORT

10% ISN'T JUST FOR FINDING A LOAD.

Dispatch support covers the work that happens before, during, and after a load - not simply searching a load board. The value isn't "we found you a load." It's: we help manage the dispatch workload surrounding that load while you remain focused on operating your truck and making the final decisions.

IS A DISPATCH SERVICE WORTH 10%?

The answer depends on your operation. Some carriers prefer self-dispatching and are comfortable spending time searching load boards, calling brokers, negotiating, reviewing paperwork, tracking appointments, monitoring deadhead, and planning the next load.

Other carriers prefer having a dispatch team handle those activities so they can focus more of their attention on operating the truck and their business. AS Logistics Pro is not intended to take control away from the carrier - our role is to reduce the dispatch workload while you keep final approval over every load.

I CAN FIND LOADS MYSELF. WHY USE A DISPATCHER?

Many carriers absolutely can self-dispatch. The difference isn't whether they're capable of finding freight - it's whether they want to personally spend the time required to search, compare, call, negotiate, coordinate, manage documents, follow up, and repeat that process after every delivery.

AS Logistics Pro exists for carriers who would rather delegate much of that workload - with respect for carriers who prefer to self-dispatch, too.

HONEST ANSWERS

QUESTIONS CARRIERS ASK BEFORE SIGNING UP.

DO I HAVE TO TAKE THE LOADS YOU FIND?

No. We can search, evaluate, communicate, and negotiate - but you make the final decision about whether to accept the load. Your truck. Your authority. Your decision.

WHAT IF THE LOAD DOESN'T LOOK PROFITABLE?

Evaluate more than gross revenue alone - loaded miles, deadhead, total trip miles, fuel, tolls, driver cost, operating expenses, destination, reload position, and timing all matter. Our Load Rate & Profitability Calculator is a planning tool that can help you evaluate a load using your own assumptions before making a decision. It doesn't guarantee profitability.

WHAT IF YOU CAN'T FIND ME A GOOD LOAD?

Freight availability and rates depend on the market, lane, equipment, season, timing, location, broker demand, and other conditions outside AS Logistics Pro's control. We do not guarantee that a suitable load will always be available. Our role is to search, evaluate available opportunities, communicate with brokers, and present options for your consideration.

WHAT IF THE BROKER DOESN'T PAY?

Broker verification and risk review can help identify warning signs but cannot guarantee payment. We review available broker information and risk indicators where practical, but AS Logistics Pro cannot guarantee a broker's conduct or payment performance. This is separate from factoring, collections, or broker payment guarantees.

IS AS LOGISTICS PRO A BROKER?

No. AS Logistics Pro provides independent dispatch support to motor carriers. We are not presenting ourselves as the motor carrier, shipper, freight broker, or freight forwarder. You retain your own operating authority and responsibility.

PAYMENT & FACTORING

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE LOAD IS DELIVERED?

AS Logistics Pro helps with dispatch-related coordination and documentation, but the freight payment itself comes from the broker or other paying party according to the applicable payment terms - not from AS Logistics Pro.

WHAT IS FACTORING?

A factoring company may purchase or advance against a carrier's freight invoice/receivable, subject to the factoring company's approval, fees, terms, reserves, recourse structure, and other conditions.

Some carriers use factoring because they prefer faster access to cash instead of waiting for a broker's normal payment cycle.

Factoring is separate from AS Logistics Pro's dispatch fee and dispatch service. We don't provide factoring, and factoring isn't free or guaranteed.

WHAT IF A BROKER HASN'T PAID?

We may assist with applicable dispatch documentation and communication related to the load, but we don't guarantee collection of freight payment. Depending on the situation, you may need to:

  • Confirm all required paperwork was submitted
  • Confirm POD/BOL documentation
  • Review the broker's payment terms
  • Contact the broker's accounting department
  • Contact your factoring company, if the invoice was factored
  • Review any payment dispute or document deficiency
  • Pursue appropriate collection or legal remedies if necessary

AS Logistics Pro is not a collection agency or law firm.

IF YOU USE A FACTORING COMPANY

Your factoring company may have its own approved broker list, credit limits, broker risk requirements, notice-of-assignment requirements, invoice submission requirements, documentation requirements, and recourse/non-recourse terms.

A load that appears acceptable for dispatch does not automatically mean your factoring company will approve the broker or purchase the invoice. If you factor your invoices, confirm the broker/load meets your factoring company's requirements before relying on factoring for that load.

RECOURSE VS. NON-RECOURSE

Recourse factoring: depending on the contract, you may ultimately remain responsible if the customer/broker does not pay.

Non-recourse factoring: may shift certain defined credit risks to the factoring company, but only under the specific terms and exclusions of that factoring agreement.

Non-recourse does not mean you can never lose money - factoring contracts vary, so review your own agreement.

AS Logistics Pro does not guarantee broker payment, factoring approval, invoice purchase, collection results, or payment timing. Broker verification and risk review may help identify warning signs but cannot eliminate payment or fraud risk.
